I can't believe it's almost over. I've been in school for 17 years of my life, what am I supposed to do without the set structure and schedule of academia? There is no path mapped out for me, where do I go? The new plan, stay in Gainesville and slowly adjust to this huge 'next step.' More like a leap.... this isn't a step... my legs don't stretch that far. I'll make sure to stretch first, keep my head forward and hopefully I won't sprain a muscle along the way. For now? I'm off to focus and work hard this last month at school. I've got a very important test, less than a week away and much to do to prepare. Going to camp this weekend, which as excited as I am, is adding more stress than necessary. Staying in Gainesville this weekend would have been best for school reasons, but I made a commitment and I'm adjusting to it. I just start studying earlier and plan around it and I will get by, I always do. That's it for now... off to learn Managerial Economics... don't be jealous! :-)

Who better to be the first commenter on your first blog but the first person to hold you, your Dad. I will try to not to be to corny, but you know me and that's difficult. So here goes...
Don't worry about which direction to go in life, like you say, it's not mapped out for you. Like a map, let your life unfold, just let it happen. You have so much going for you, you are certain to be a success in anything you choose to do. I know you will work hard, you always do, it's just who you are. I know you will have fun along the way, because that is who you are too. I loved watching you grow and have fun in High School and now in college. I am so looking forward to your "next Step" or "leap" as you say.

I can still remember the first steps you took when you learned to walk. As remarkable as it was for me to see them, you have taken so many more remarkable steps in your life! I am so very proud of every thing you have accomplished! I have no doubt that whatever path(s) you choose to continue on, that you will be successful!

OOhh how well I understand how your feeling. It is normal to be a little unsure of what the future holds. Just listen to your heart...it wil never lie to you! You will be amazing whatever you choose to do in life. You have a great family who loves you...what a blessing that is!

Alright sis listen up. I have somewhat of a idea of how you feel but not exatly. You are smart and umm smart and talented on the computer and oh yea freakin smart. It will come to you like a truck hits a deer. wow thats kinda morbid. umm what im trying to say is thatyou dont have anything to worry about. your smart, super talented,headstrong,and my sister. Therefore you are cool no matter what. I think you should get into the music or film bussiness, that way when i become famous you can hook me up with your connections and you can manage my multi million dollar movie. At least now I can catch up with you from time to time. If I can give you one piece of advice, it is follow your gut feelings, it will never steer you the wrong way. Life will take you too many places and many situations; with the good and the bad, but always remember as the sun sets, it will rise again the next day. Enjoy life to the fullest, be happy and follow your dreams, do not let anyone tell you other wise.
I remember the gutsy little 8 year old that came to Belgium and managed very well. Nothing has changed you just grew up and became the wonderful women that you are now. I wish you all the best life can bring.
